Thanks for the great pictures, Cristina. We arrived home safely, and on time, and with our luggage, even though our connection in San Juan was reduced to 45 minutes by a delay in leaving Tortola. During that time, we cleared customs, re-checked our luggage and “ran” from the American Airlines gate to the Continental gate.
Jordi, I am trying to find another person who can mix “James Bond martinis.” I am not successful yet, but it is not because I am not trying! hic…

 Hi Cristina & Jordi,

First of all a very big thank you to you both for making our sailing vacation such a fantastic one. You couldn’t have been more kind and fun. We all loved your company (and your delicious food). Cristina, you came up on your promise of turtles, and the snorkelling is out of this world. We really had a super time and I have filled in the Festiva questionaire with glowing compliments about you both! Thank you.

It’s really not very nice to be home! It’s grey and raining with a bitterley cold wind. The top temperature is 6 degrees celcius. Brrrrr!
Simon and Fran are luckily still in Antigua with temps of 38 degrees!

I know we would all love some of your recipes if you have time to write them. Lynnie loved the rum cake (as did we all!) and key lime pie. I especially loved the marinades that you used for the fish and steak and then there was the spinach with plantaines. Also there was a gorgeous rum and maple syrup sauce that I could have eaten on it’s own. Ummm food! We must go on diets now after all our indulging.

We would be very interested to hear from you and all your travels and especially your plans for your boat. Today is the day you might have sold it! We keep our fingers crossed for you.

Dear Cristina and Jordi,

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality and excellent hosting of our vacation this week. Jim and I know very well the stresses of playing host to people while they “let loose” and y’all were most tolerant of our antics and moments of inebriation. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, as I know Ted and Sherry did. We also enjoyed meeting Steve and Sandy and hope to stay in touch with them in the future.

As would we be thrilled to see y’all again, either if you are up near us in the DC area, or in Texas, if you get out that direction. Any time, I know both we and Ted would be happy to have y’all stop in. DC in the Springtime and the Fall are particularly pretty, though any time you are around, please do let us know… In the mean time, best of luck selling your boat, and enjoy the Carribean while you are there! We’ll be thinking warm, breezy thoughts until next time…

What a wonderful relaxing vacation we had, thanks to both of you! I told everyone back in California what absolutely great hosts you were, so attentive to our needs and didn’t let us lift a finger! It was a very special time, especially since I was able to share it with my sisters.
Thanks so much for the pictures. Your camera takes wonderful photos. I look forward to seeing the update on your webpage when it’s available.
I’ve started editing my photos and will include you in the link to view them.
I hope you’re not suffering too much in your cramped quarters in the bow of the boat. Enjoy the rest of your week and be sure to keep us informed on future plans. We’d love to sail with you again sometime, especially in Fiji!

Greetings Cris and Jordi!

Thank you so much for a truly wonderful vacation. You are both great hosts/captains and made this trip very special for us. Everything exceeded our expectations, especially the great food and having our own dive master on board with us. You both have a talent for sailing and entertaining. Keep us posted on your future plans. We would be especially interested in sailing with you in the Fiji Island area some day!

I wanted to take the time to write and let you know the exceptional quality of our sailing staff. Cristina and Jordi were organized, communicated the itinerary and flexed well when we desired to change slightly and were gracious hosts. The quality of cooking was exceptional. I’m quite sure it isn’t easy to cook on board a boat. Additionally Jordi and Cristina were willing to show and explain sailing techniques to those of us interested. We were traveling with three other good couple friends and they quickly joined in with the humor and fun of the group. Of course all of this excellence was set in the beautiful BVI’s which no one could find fault with.

We would be happy to offer any recommendations for the future and will be happy to sail again with Jordi and Cristina and Festiva Sailing Vacations.

Jeannine and I enjoyed the week immensely and want to thank you and Jordi. We would also like to extend to you both a place to stay should you wish to come to Ontario, Canada for a visit. We are located approx 2 hours from Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal … three cities I think you both would enjoy visiting. As well, it is very beautiful here in spring, summer and fall with lots of fresh water boating.

Benvolguts Reis Mags d’Orient
Per l’any vinent ens demanem un viatge per la Patagonia, que el Carib ja ens el coneixem… Com que aquest any ens hem portat molt bé, creiem que ens mereixeríem alguna LLAGOSTA … no gaires … però alguna!!
També demanem que l’Ibéric que portará ara la Cristina no s’acabi, i ens en quedi algun bocinet pels esorzars de forquilla del veler. També demanem pinces noves per la roba (de plàstic perquè no es robellin), més tabasco, un rentaplats, una nina inflable pel solitari “winki”… i una zona d’spa amb jacussi al veler!!!
Per tot això us estarem molt agraïts.
Ja sabeu on trobar el veler, i on trobar-nos per fer-nos arribar els presents.
